Welcome to MV Scuba Adventure
Join
MV Scuba Adventure for live-aboard trips to the Similan Islands,
Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, and the Surin Islands!
You are in for the diving adventure of a lifetime with these
exciting destinations and all they have to offer. In an effort to provide the best service and diving on MV
Scuba Adventure we have just completed a major renovation
of the vessel. After listening to our guests' comments we
now provide the following:
-
A maximum of 12 divers in 2 double and 5 twin cabins. Double
cabins on first booked, first served basis. - Each cabin with it's own air-con unit. - Four toilet/showers with hot water. - Portholes in the lower cabins providing natural lighting.
- Nitrox blending onboard Our
4 day/4 night trips depart from Patong Beach on Phuket. Departure
is at 20.00 hrs with a short overnight cruise. Wake up in
the morning, get out of bed, have a look around, and be greeted
by the beauty of the Similan Islands. Then, jump into the
water for your first dive, where you will be welcomed by the
beauty of the underwater world! Are 14 dives simply not enough? Do you want to see more of
the Similan Islands? No problem - instead of going back to
shore, we can drop you off the MV Scuba Cat at the Similan
Islands and you just keep on diving
Rebreather and Nitrox Diving
M/V Scuba Adventure
has a Nitrox blending system onboard. Nitrox is now commonly
accepted as a perfectly safe way to reduce the nitrogen saturation
in your body tissues and gain less decompression times.
If you are not yet a certified Nitrox Diver, our Diving Instructors
are happy to train you. The Advanced Open Water Certification
is a prerequisite, and the course itself takes one and a half
days. After you have successfully completed this certification
you are allowed to take the next and even bigger step: The
Draeger Dolphin Rebreather allows you to experience diving
like never before. What is unique about rebreather systems
is that your exhaled gas is not released into the water as
in conventional open circuit systems, but is purified and
returned to the breathing curcuit. As a result, you can enjoy
your dive to the fullest - not only a longer dive, but also
a completely undisturbed adventure.
While diving with the Dolphin Rebreather,
you will notice how strangely quiet it is, far quieter than
normal. No noisy valves, no hissing air, no annoying bubbles
coming from your mouthpiece - nothing to disturb you or the
aquatic life. Even the shyest inhabitants of the reef are
no longer disturbed by your presence, giving you the fascinating
feeling of being an accepted guest: a part of your environment
rather than an intrusion.
